About the Role

- Utilize data analytics and AI to break down ticket distribution into detailed categories, identify trends such as recurring high-priority issues or clusters of technical debt, and refine sprint planning accordingly.
- Forecast workload and adjust resource allocation based on insights.
- Proactively identify and track dependencies, ensuring they do not become bottlenecks.
- Monitor critical tickets and customer commitment deadlines.
- Keep teams aligned on timelines and flag risks early with clear escalation paths.
- Help define clear start and end timelines for roadmap commitments.
- Work with engineering and product teams to break down critical tickets into manageable work items.
- Identify and prioritize prerequisite work (research, spikes) before execution begins.
- Develop and implement capacity planning processes to forecast team bandwidth.
- Leverage historical velocity data to identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with engineering and product to ensure resource allocation aligns with strategic objectives.
- Track and report on progress against engineering OKRs, maintaining visibility into how execution maps to business goals.
- Flag when delivery is drifting from stated objectives and surface risks to engineering leadership early.
- Drive best practices in execution tracking and reporting to improve engineering efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
- Bridge engineering, product, sales engineering and customer success teams to ensure customer commitments are understood, tracked, and delivered.
- Maintain clear visibility into roadmap status and escalation status for leadership through regular reporting and reviews.
- Own cross-functional customer escalations: understand impact, coordinate resolution with engineering, and communicate progress to Customer Success and Sales Engineering until closure.
- Act as the customer advocate internally, ensuring escalations are triaged, prioritized, and resolved with urgency.
- Identify patterns in escalations and work with product and engineering to drive systemic fixes that prevent recurrence
- Manage the delivery lifecycle for private and on-prem customer deployments, coordinating with infrastructure, engineering, sales engineering and customer success teams.
- Ensure customers on private deployments receive timely updates, upgrades, and support with clear communication throughout.
- 12+ years of technical program management experience, including customer-facing delivery.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent program management certification (required).
- Proven track record managing both engineering execution and customer-facing programs at scale in SaaS or security environments.
- Deep expertise in JIRA, Confluence, and engineering analytics tools.
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into engineering requirements and communicate technical constraints back to customers.
- Excellent communication skills across engineering teams, product, leadership, and customers.
- Experience mentoring junior managers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and escalate risks proactively.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with ability to build and interpret dashboards.
- Exposure to GenAI LLM-based systems (Claude, Codex, Gemini etc).
Requirements

- Experience with AI-powered platforms and engineering OKRs.
- Prior experience managing private deployments or enterprise customer implementations.
- History of introducing process innovations that measurably improved sprint planning, customer onboarding, and delivery excellence.
- Experience at a scaled SaaS company (50+ person engineering org) operating across multiple time zones.
