This position provides comprehensive administrative, organizational, and logistical support for the United States Military Academy (“USMA”) Women’s Soccer program, including daily operations, team travel, equipment ordering and distribution, facility scheduling, business office reconciliations, recruiting visit logistics, alumni and community engagement, and camp operations. The role also supports external initiatives such as strategic communications, social media strategy, and creative video. This position works closely with the Army West Point Athletic Association (“AWPAA”) compliance office to ensure adherence to NCAA, USMA, AWPAA, and Patriot League rules and regulations, represents the Women’s Soccer program and AWPAA in a professional manner, and performs other duties as assigned.
This position is responsible for managing all operational and support functions of the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer program at the USMA The role involves direct interaction with cadet-athletes who are future leaders of the United States Army. While the position does not participate in policy development, it plays a key role in the administrative organization and execution of the Women’s Soccer program. This role regularly interacts with a broad range of stakeholders, including USMA staff, AWPAA staff, Army Athletic Association staff, Association of Graduates staff, coaches, cadet-athletes, parents, donors, and the general public.
This position exercises a moderate level of decision-making authority, primarily related to planning and executing team travel and recruiting visit logistics. The role also contributes to the collaboration, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives and the overall vision for the Women’s Soccer program and the Army West Point Athletic Association.
Success in this position will be evaluated by the Supervisor on the employee’s performance in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: Commitment to AWPAA Mission, Vision and Values; and supporting the AWPAA Strategic Plan and Priority Results.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Responsible for making and coordinating team travel arrangements. Responsibilities include reserving hotel rooms, cash advances/per diem, buses, flights, team meeting rooms, and team meals.
- In coordination with coaching staff, creates travel itinerary for and sees that it is sent to the appropriate administrators, coaching staff, OR, and team.
- Responsible for travel reports/reconciliation.
- Oversee the logistics and operational execution of all unofficial and official visits including compliance forms, itineraries, purchasing flights (if applicable), organizing meetings with support staff and players, meals, and transportation to and from USMA.

- Point of contact for any program events including Alumnae weekend, Army/Navy, TAC/TAC NCO/Professor Support Days, Team Banquets, Youth Club Nights, Pre R Day Picnic, Ice Cream Social, and any team building, civic engagement or community outreach events.
- Responsibilities include invitations, communication, organization, planning, and coordination of any meals, travel, and any necessary logistics.
- Liaison with the AWPAA camp staff and the coaches for ID Camps and Youth Camps.
- Responsibilities include ensuring all approvals and facilities are secured, monitoring correspondence between camp office, campers, and coaches, and ensuring any necessary logistics with meals, visitor passes, and staffing (if applicable) are coordinated.
- Maintains logs via compliance office.
- Ensures communication with USMA areas including Mess Hall closing tables, scheduling mandatory USMA activities, and beyond.
- Assist in oversight of managers.

- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Day and overnight travel may occur to support competitions, professional meetings, and other events associated with the operations of the Women’s Soccer program.

- Strong organization, communication, and operations skills required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn new software, such as Adobe Photoshop.
- The ability to form and maintain relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
