Picker / Boom Truck Operator (25-Ton)

Our Operations group is currently looking to add a Picker / Boom Truck Operator to the team, based in Dawson Creek, BC. 

Reporting to the Operations Lead, this position will operate a 25-ton picker truck in support of a Pipeline Construction Project.

Please Note: this position will work a rotation of 6 days on / 1 day off

• →Perform hoisting activities in compliance with lift plans and site procedures
• →Inspect rigging and ensure all loads are secure prior to lifting
• →Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
• →Work closely with ground crew, signalers, and supervisors to complete lifts safely
• →Adhere to all occupational health & safety regulations and company policies
• →Maintain accurate equipment logs and documentation

• →3 years of experience operating a picker in construction or pipeline environments
• →Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
• →Valid Crane Operator Certification (provincial or Red Seal, where applicable)
• →Proven ability to safely perform lifts in challenging terrain and weather conditions
• →All job level tickets: First Aid, H2S Alive, CCSO
• →Must be able to pass a pre employment Drug and Alcohol Test
