Ascendis Pharma is looking for a Student Assistant to join our Pharmacometrics department in Hellerup.
Responsibilities

Requirements
~1 min readYou are currently enrolled and pursuing an academic degree. Ideally studying statistics, mathematics, data science, bioinformatics, biomedicine, pharmacy or similar.
Furthermore, you have:
- Completed at least 2 years of university studies and has at least 2 years remaining, studying
- Understand object-oriented programming and clinical time-series data
- Has strong programming skills in R (e.g., dplyr, tidyverse) and preferably experience with LaTeX (e.g., knitr, hyperref or cleveref)
- Is detail-oriented with a scientific mindset, and enjoys writing efficient and structured code (e.g., functions, packages, ggplot)
It is an advantage if you:
- Have experience with Git
- Have an interest in pharmacometrics and drug development
- Have experience with non-linear fixed effects modeling (NONMEM) and differential equations
You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.
You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.
To succeed in this role, we also expect you to be service-minded and would like to work in a diverse team with many different ongoing tasks
