What You’ll Do

Admissions and Treatment Planning

  • Oversee outpatient clinical admissions, including assessments and preliminary treatment planning for new clients.

Crisis Intervention

  • Provide clinical intervention during crisis situations and address emergent client needs.

Documentation

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of psychosocial assessments, clinical notes, and master treatment plans.

Therapy Services

  • Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy services as assigned.

Quality and Compliance

  • Review client records for quality and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and participate in quality assurance and utilization review activities.

Additional Duties

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations and program success.



Qualifications

  • Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Willing to consider licensure candidates or those with additional training if not fully licensed.
  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field required.
  • Approved to supervise clinical staff.
  • 2+ years of experience working with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical systems, supervision, operations, quality assurance, and regulatory/accreditation requirements.



Physical Demands

Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. There is regular interaction with the public, other agencies, and employees. Tight time constraints and multiple demands from various stakeholders are common. Travel may be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events.



Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb one flight of stairs. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
