Overall Test Manager*in (m/w/d)

Overall Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, including coordination of testers in several teams of one IT program

• Proven track record in designing and implementing project-overarching / program wide test strategies

• Experience in software release management or willingness to learn the tasks involved in coordinating the release of different dependent applications. Ability to stand in for the release manager during absences.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly in a business and stakeholder-facing context

• Self‑driven and independent working style

• Fluent in English, German as a plus

• Located in Munich area (for regular participation in e.g. UAT testing sessions)

Responsibilities

• Coordination of testing for releases in the integration environment, user acceptance testing environment, and production environment, including:

  • Creation and maintenance of test plans

  • Cross‑system coordination of the test execution

  • Run of overarching smoke, integration, and E2E test plans

  • Overall responsibility for test reporting, including go‑live test reports

• Ownership of quality gates for deployment in the user acceptance testing and production environments, including Go / No‑Go decision meetings

• Facilitation of Test and Bug Status Meetings, particularly around production releases

• Establish and continuously maintain a whole team Quality approach within the projects

• Give Guidance, coordination, and support for testers throughout all test phases
