We are seeking a versatile and organized supply chain manager that can handle tasks from supplier relations to inventory management, both the tool and the actual parts. As such you will establish and grow relationships with suppliers, and keep track of robot forecasts and parts in the warehouse, and manage the tools to track them. This is a key role in our production team as we scale to the next order of magnitude.

1. →Order parts from suppliers, establish and nurture relationships with them, and visits their factories to tighten bonds, and assess process quality
2. →Improve the use of inventory tracking and forecast tracking tools without impeding the normal assembly and repairs workflows.
3. →Be the owner of the “warehouse”, re-organize it whenever needed, store parts as they arrive, coordinate with big deliveries, etc
4. →Introduce quality checks at suppliers, perform quality checks as parts that arrive to Ascento, replenish assembly substations
5. →Organize robot logistics, like packing, shipping, etc

1. Relevant experience with supply chain management, or at least stakeholder management, and project management.
2. Fluent English and Fluent Chinese, as we are looking to improve communication with our Chinese suppliers.
3. Experience with ERP, production software, inventory tracking software, etc.
4. A technical background in mechanics or manufacturing is a plus.
5. Multidisciplinary, not scared to get hands on, visit factories, count parts, and improve software flows, and more.

1. The tasks are very varied, from meeting and cultivating relationships to counting parts and sorting them. Few people are good at (or enjoy) all those tasks.
2. While there is some infrastructure and tooling in place, there is a lot more to be done than what we already have in place.
