Assistant Manager - Design

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES OF THIS JOB (list not more than 10 items)

1). Designing: 

• Design conceptualization and sketching for Travel goods
• Research on fashion and market trends.
• Present designs and reports to design head for approval and discuss need for modification.

2). Product Development:

• Develop and coordinate the fabrication of models or samples and the drafting of working drawings and specification sheets from sketches.
• Modify and refine designs, using working models, to conform to specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends.
• Evaluate feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics.

Design Graduate from NIFT/ NID Product /Lifestyle Accessory design

6-9 years preferably in travel goods or lifestyle products.

Mobility/Travel 

Occasional travel to local market / factory.  

Computer Skills    

Adobe photoshop/ Illustrator/ Corel draw

Language

Proficient with written and spoken English
