MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES OF THIS JOB (list not more than 10 items)

Achieving Production Targets:

• Responsible for the smooth functioning of Production  Dept.
• OEE of the machines to be improve as per set targets.
• Eliminating Rejection & Scrap, set the procedure and finalize SOP’s.
• Rejection during change over & in process to be reduce by improving production efficiency to a set yearly target. 
• Drive day to day production function through periodic review of key parameters to meet production

target.

• Ensuring the efficient day to day production plan schedules and execution.
• Managing the team of production officers and resolving issues of production process.
• Ensure adherence & maintaining to defined quality standards and Team trainings.
• Optimizing the use of resources and workflows.
• Continuously improving production processes and problem solving.
• Conduct and guide team for SMED, CLIT & MY Machine-like campaign in the department.
• Responsible to Improve Machine efficiency, Reduce machine down time by using various quality tools .
• Working on Autonomous maintenance to improve the life of machine & equipment.
• production targets for shell volumes, reduction in non-quality cost and on time delivery schedules.
• Promote a motivating atmosphere allowing the team to use best of their skills in the most versatile and disciplined manner.
• Responsible for continual improvements on cost control/better OEE, Quality control,rejection control etc. through Kaizens, Improvement Projects, Process engineering, Machine layout planning, & execution of plant level automation.

Safety:-

• Ensure department personnel are trained on the Dos and Donts of the machines & equipment.
• Ensure that all shift in-charges, officers, Technicians and Operators are properly educated and trained on using the machines and auxiliary Equipment.
• Ensure provision of safety resources as required in department and provide safe and healthy working environment.
• Ensure safety of Man & Machines.

Manufacturing Excellence & Audit Compliances:

• Find out number of Kaizens and implement it.
• 5S to be maintain on shopfloor as well at machines.
• Worked on 3m Muda Mura & Muri to improve production efficiency.
• Take care of safety measures and conduct training for awareness.
• Take care of work & Actions related to ISO 14000, SMETA & SA 8000 Audit.
