As a Production Planner at ASM, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth production operations and on-time delivery of advanced semiconductor equipment. You’ll collaborate across functions to manage BOM structures, engineering changes, and production schedules, driving efficiency and quality in a dynamic environment. Your work will directly support ASM’s mission to deliver cutting-edge technology that powers the world’s most innovative devices.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage BOM and multi-level BOM structures for semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
- →Manage labor hours, cost roll and shipment fulfillment.
- →Analyze projects promptly and accurately, ensuring demand loading, change management, and milestone deliverables for successful closure and on-time shipment.
- →Plan and prepare production schedules aligned with manufacturing milestones and build plans.
- →Drive cross-functional teams to meet key dates: Assembly Start, PMCD, and shipment deadlines.
- →Manage engineering and configuration changes in SAP and TeamCenter.
- →Act as the primary liaison between Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Shipping.
- →Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements in a dynamic environment.
- →Implement process improvements to ensure cycle time and delivery requirements are met.
- Minium Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of production planning experience in manufacturing or low-volume, high-mix environment.
- Proficient in SAP S/4Hana, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable with numbers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Independent, diligent, and highly motivated team player.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage escalations and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environment.
