Senior / Manager, Accounting (Finance Shared Services)

You will lead our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, delivering accurate, consistent, and high-quality transactional finance services that support ASM’s global growth. This role drives operational excellence through standardization, automation, and data-driven improvements, ensuring our shared services function scales with the company’s ambitions. With your leadership, we will continue strengthening our controls, elevating service delivery, and building a modern Finance Shared Services organization that partners closely with the business.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead AP and AR end-to-end service delivery, ensuring invoices, payments, billing, collections, disputes, and cash application are completed accurately and on time.
- →Monitor performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvements in quality, efficiency, and service delivery.
- →Build, coach, and empower high-volume transactional teams to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
- →Drive process standardization, simplification, and automation to reduce manual effort and optimize system usage, especially within SAP.
- →Partner with IT and transformation teams to enhance ERP capabilities, workflow design, and automation opportunities.
- →Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations stakeholders to resolve issues and strengthen cross-functional outcomes.
- →Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, audit expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- →Support the Director, Finance Shared Services, in advancing the maturity, scalability, and effectiveness of the shared services organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience with strong AP and AR leadership.
- Minimum five years leading high-volume transactional finance teams.
- Hands-on ERP experience, with SAP S4/Hana
- Strong foundation in compliance, internal controls, and operational accuracy.
- Experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environments.
- Background in finance transformation, automation, workflow optimization, or process standardization.
- Demonstrated success driving improvements across multi-location AP/AR operations.
