Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day guidance and operational support on trade compliance matters, including export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance.

Proactively monitor and manage transactional orders within SAP GTS and related ERP systems.

Partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance with applicable export, customs, and sanctions regulations.

Support the development and continuous improvement of ASM’s global trade compliance program.

Develop and deliver trade compliance education, training, and awareness initiatives.
- →
Conduct internal compliance reviews and self-assessments to help ensure effective execution of trade compliance activities.
- →
Document procedures, processes, and work instructions to support consistent and compliant operations
- →Execute and monitor export control requirements, including screening and transactional controls.
- →Build strong working relationships with employees and business partners to support trade compliance initiatives and projects.
- →Design and develop data models, reports, dashboards, and data quality scorecards using Power BI and AI-enabled tools to support compliance monitoring and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in trade compliance, export controls, international trade, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in international trade compliance within a global business environment.

Working knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in execution.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Experience assigning Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications.

Experience supporting export licensing activities and export control determinations

Experience within the high-tech or semiconductor industry.

Experience with SAP GTS, SAP S/4HANA, or related trade compliance systems.

Experience creating data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
