Mid-Level Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / Azure Data Factory Specialist to take ownership of our data architecture and pipeline development. In this role, you will be the architect of our data flow, transforming raw information from various sources into high-quality, analytics-ready datasets. Your work will serve as the foundation for the organization’s reporting, Business Intelligence, and AI/ML initiatives, ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and scalable.

• →Design, build, and manage end-to-end Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for seamless data ingestion, complex transformations, and loading (ETL/ELT).
• →Architect robust data models within Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks (Delta Lake) to support diverse analytical needs.
• →Seamlessly integrate structured and unstructured data originating from ERP and CRM systems, as well as various cloud-based and on-premises sources.
• →Create and maintain Power BI datasets, develop sophisticated semantic layers, and design intuitive reporting dashboards for stakeholders.
• →Implement rigorous data quality checks, monitoring systems, and automated alerting frameworks to ensure the integrity of the data ecosystem.
• →Maintain and optimize CI/CD workflows for data pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure agile and reliable deployments.

• At least 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, specifically within the Azure ecosystem.
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks/Delta Lake.
• Strong command of SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake (ADLS), and storage solutions like Blob Storage and CosmosDB.
• Proficiency in Power BI (Pro & Premium), including advanced DAX and M Query for data transformation and semantic modeling.
• Practical experience with Git and Azure DevOps in an Agile environment.
• B2+ English proficiency with the ability to document technical processes clearly and collaborate effectively in a nearshore environment.

• Experience working with large-scale migration projects from on-prem to cloud.
• Advanced certifications in Azure Data Engineering (e.g., DP-203).
• Familiarity with Python or Scala for advanced data processing within Databricks.
• Knowledge of advanced AI/ML integration patterns within data pipelines.
