About the Role
~1 min readThis role exists to give Aspora's brand a voice that moves. We're telling a story about money, migration, and belonging: one that has to land across cultures, channels, and contexts. Static design gets you so far. Motion is what makes it feel alive.
You'll own how Aspora moves: from in-app micro-interactions to campaign films, social content, and product surfaces. You'll build the motion language that underpins everything we put into the world, working directly with brand, product, and growth.
This is an early hire. What you build here becomes the standard.
Define and build Aspora's motion design language: principles, patterns, and reusable components that scale across product and marketing
Lead motion execution across brand campaigns, social, CRM, in-app placements, and out-of-home: end to end, from concept to final delivery
Partner with Product and Growth to bring UI transitions, micro-interactions, and feature launches to life through motion
Drive consistency across moving and static touchpoints by contributing to the design system with motion specs and guidelines
Shape the creative bar for animation quality, timing, and storytelling across every surface Aspora ships on
5+ years in motion design, with a portfolio that shows both craft and range: brand campaigns, product animation, social content, and ideally some work at global or multicultural scale.
Expert in After Effects; comfortable in Figma, Lottie, and at least one 3D tool (Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent)
Strong visual fundamentals: timing, easing, composition, and the discipline to make motion feel intentional rather than decorative
Can move from brief to finished asset without heavy hand-holding, and can bring others along on the creative direction
Comfortable working across product and marketing surfaces simultaneously, not just one or the other
First-principles thinker: you question whether something needs to move before deciding how
You'll define motion design at Aspora from scratch: the language, the principles, and the bar for everything that follows
Your work will reach users across India, the UK, the UAE, and beyond, on surfaces that matter to how they manage and move their money
You'll work directly with senior creative and product talent, with real influence over how the brand shows up globally
You'll build in a space where motion is genuinely underexplored in fintech: the opportunity to do something original is real
