We are a devoted and capable team that includes world-renowned engineers and distinguished business leaders united by a common goal – To build the future of predictive maintenance. As we enter the next phase of rapid growth, we are seeking people to help lead the journey.
AssetWatch is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to establish and lead the company's tax and compliance function as we continue to scale globally. This is a newly created role, built to own tax and compliance as a dedicated internal capability that was previously managed alongside other accounting responsibilities.
The company currently operates in the United States and Canada, is actively expanding its presence in Mexico, and is preparing for future growth in the United Kingdom and European markets. This role will serve as the primary internal owner of tax and compliance activities, partnering closely with Accounting leadership and external advisors to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and support international growth.
Reporting directly to the VP, Accounting, this is an individual contributor role with access to accounting team support for administrative tasks; team expansion will be evaluated as the function matures and the company continues to grow. You'll work closely with established external advisors, including BDO and other international tax and legal partners, so you won't be expected to be a solo expert across every jurisdiction. The focus is on effective coordination, oversight, and internal ownership of compliance activities. The ideal candidate combines strong tax and compliance knowledge with operational execution skills, business partnership capabilities, and experience supporting multi-jurisdiction organizations.

- Partner with Accounting, Revenue Operations, and Finance teams to improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
- Optimize tax-related processes within NetSuite and supporting systems.
- Establish reporting, monitoring, and dashboard capabilities to improve visibility into compliance activities and risks.
- Serve as the primary internal resource for tax and compliance matters.
- Partner with Accounting, Revenue Operations, Legal, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and business leadership.
- Evaluate tax and compliance implications of new business initiatives, customer arrangements, vendor relationships, and international expansion activities.
- Provide recommendations and insights to senior leadership regarding tax and compliance matters.
