SUMMARY:

Design and create graphics to meet specific customer needs, such as, but not limited to, flyers, bulletins, menus and window signs and digital media. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects.

This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Design and produce weekly print and digital marketing materials, including supermarket flyers, signage, promotional materials, and other retailer-specific creative assets.

  •  Build strong working relationships with retailers by providing professional, responsive customer service and creative solutions that meet their business needs.

  •  Collaborate with retailers to create custom branding solutions, including logos and other store identity materials.

  • Review and proofread all advertising/marketing materials developed by team members to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and adherence to design standards.

  • Work closely with retailers and internal teams to fulfill creative requests, including custom signage, promotional materials, and digital assets.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with marketing, sales, and other internal teams to support ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Ensure that all design files, images and photos are organized, archived, and accessible for team members and stakeholders.

  •  Use computer software to create and produce marketing materials using the Apple platform, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other design software programs.

  •  Performs other duties as assigned or required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • College degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Design Principals.
  • Creative and understands the use of Typography both in print and digital.
  • Excellent typing skills and basic troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Ability to proofread and communicate clearly both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Graphic Design software such as: Mac OS, Adobe CreativeSuite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing software iMovie, Premiere Pro, Adobe Acrobat; advanced knowledge: Internet, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong image editing skills and strong knowledge of different file formats.
  • Knowledge of offset and digital printing and the four-color process as well as other color systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Basic knowledge of grocery products and pricing.
  • Excellent customer service skills working directly with retailers and internal teams as well as the ability to discuss our various marketing options with customers.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment.
  • Constant exposure to viewing computer monitors.
  • Extended period of time spent sitting at workstations.
  • Occasional light lifting not to exceed 50lbs.
  • No or very little exposure to physical risk.
