About the Role
~1 min readAstanza Laser is seeking an experienced 1099 Clinical Trainer to deliver engaging, hands-on education to medical aesthetic professionals across the United States.
This independent contractor opportunity is ideal for a skilled aesthetician and laser technician who combines strong clinical expertise with a genuine passion for teaching, public speaking, and helping others succeed.
As a Clinical Trainer, you will educate providers on the safe, effective, and confident use of Astanza laser technology. You may support new device installations, individual client trainings, advanced clinical education, product demonstrations, and Astanza's New Look Laser College, including tattoo removal education.

- 4+ years of professional experience in the medical aesthetics industry
- Hands-on experience as an aesthetician and laser technician
- Strong clinical knowledge of aesthetic laser and light-based technologies
- Experience performing or supporting laser tattoo removal treatments
- Demonstrated ability to teach, train, coach, or educate adult learners
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical and clinical concepts in a clear, practical way
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and adaptability
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75%
- Must reside within 50 miles of a major airport
- State-issued laser technician license or other applicable professional licensure
- Experience managing or operating within a medical spa or aesthetic practice
- Hands-on experience with multiple laser and light-based platforms
- Experience with Quanta System and/or Asclepion laser technology
- Advanced understanding of combination therapies and multimodality treatment planning
- Experience with patient consultations, treatment planning, and patient flow optimization
- Experience selling aesthetic treatments, treatment packages, skincare, consumables, or related products
- Content creation experience, including blogs, webinars, social media, live video, or Canva
Responsibilities
~1 min readConduct engaging, hands-on laser training programs at client locations, Astanza facilities, educational events, and other approved training environments. Adapt instruction to different experience levels, learning styles, technologies, and clinical objectives.
Provide clinical education during new device installations and additional training engagements, helping clients develop confidence in treatment protocols, patient selection, endpoints, safety, and best practices.
Support and facilitate education for Astanza's New Look Laser College, including foundational concepts and hands-on instruction related to laser tattoo removal.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Astanza laser systems, treatment applications, clinical protocols, contraindications, safety considerations, and evolving best practices in medical aesthetics.
Provide clinical expertise during product demonstrations, educational events, and other client interactions. Help prospective and existing clients understand treatment applications, workflow considerations, and the clinical capabilities of Astanza technology.
Communicate technical and clinical information clearly to diverse audiences, from one-on-one client sessions and small-group trainings to webinars, conferences, and educational events.
As opportunities arise, support educational content development, product testing, webinars, social media content, clinical resources, and other training or marketing initiatives.
Travel approximately 75% based on training assignments, client needs, demonstrations, and educational events.
