The Plant Manager will lead and optimize all aspects of a high-volume aluminum extrusion facility. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and workforce engagement while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
This is a highly visible leadership position requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead all plant operations including extrusion, finishing, fabrication, and shipping
- →Drive key performance metrics: safety, quality, scrap reduction, uptime, and on-time delivery
- →Analyze production data to identify opportunities and implement improvements
- →Manage plant financial performance including budgets and cost controls
- →Oversee scheduling, capacity planning, and material flow
- →Partner with HR to support workforce planning and union relations
- →Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline employees
- →Champion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- →Ensure strong communication and engagement across all levels of the organization
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing
- Proven experience managing large-scale operations (500+ employees preferred)
- Strong knowledge of aluminum extrusion processes and related operations
- Experience in high-volume production environments with aggressive KPIs
- Background in union environments and labor relations
- Financial acumen including budgeting and capital project management
- Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
