Channel Account Manager for ASUS Systems Business Group assigned to CDWG. This position is responsible for sales execution and business development within assigned accounts. The primary focus is supporting CDWG, specifically supporting the K12 vertical. Will drive CDWG AM trainings, pipeline management, and whitespace mapping.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- 5+ years of outside sales experience in IT hardware, software, or services.
- Named-account experience and working knowledge of the commercial PC/client business.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing and executing business plans.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Distribution, VAR and NSP channels.
- Knowledge of K12 Edtech.
- Technical proficiency in computer hardware and general IT environments.
- Relevant Microsoft and/or Google certifications.
- Proven ability to sell in complex, multi-stakeholder, and dynamic sales situations.
- Demonstrated peer leadership capability experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience working as a CDW account manager or supporting CDW account managers.
Working Conditions:
- Remote-based role with regular onsite presence at reseller partner offices and end-customer locations.
- Daily use of telephone, email, and Microsoft Office tools (including Teams) for internal and external communication.
- Regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly participation in face-to-face trainings, client engagements, internal reporting, and related business reviews.
- Travel as required to support business needs, role responsibilities, and customer cadence.
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
