Responsibilities

→Assist in installing AV equipment such as displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, and control systems.
→Configure and test video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex).
→Run, terminate, and label AV cabling (HDMI, CAT6, audio cables).
→Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

→Respond and track service request tickets using ServiceNow.

→Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
→Support live meetings, presentations, and special events.
→Prepare documentation, wiring diagrams, and installation reports.
→Work with senior engineers during system integration and commissioning.
→Follow company safety standards and installation best practices.
→Provide basic user training and technical support.

Requirements

Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of AV or IT support experience.
Basic understanding of:

Audio systems
Video displays and projectors
AV signal flow
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP)
Microsoft Teams or Zoom

Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites if required.

CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or willingness to obtain it.
Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or Shure.
Experience with AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio.
Familiarity with AV-over-IP technologies.
