Athena Club is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. You’ll be a core partner to the business, with a particular focus on supply chain, COGS, and inventory. You’ll own models, support planning, and bring analytical structure to decisions across business functions. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to do the detail-oriented work of a growing CPG brand and make a real impact at a brand that is scaling fast.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the operations and supply chain teams to build and maintain COGS forecasts, including materials, freight, and duties
  • Own product/category cost reporting, translating operational data into clear financial visibility for the business
  • Track innovation cost assumptions in partnership with the product team, from development through launch
  • Build and maintain analyses to support supply chain team on planning decisions across complex, international supply chain
  • Analyze cost variances against forecasts, and clearly communicate drivers to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support monthly close processes around COGS and inventory, including valuation across in-transit, co-manufacturers and in-warehouse
  • Partner with marketing team to forecast retail, brand, and growth marketing spend
  • Track monthly pacing against forecast, analyze variances, and surface risks or opportunities vs. plan
  • Support marketing close process through accruals management, prepaid tracking, and actuals reporting
  • Own ad hoc analyses across functions as the business scales into new categories and channels

Requirements

  •  2–3 years of experience in FP&A or supply chain finance at a consumer or CPG company (prior experience at a start-up or emerging CPG brand a plus)
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills; comfortable building fast, structured models and analyses from scratch
  • Familiarity with supply chain concepts, including BOMs, co-manufacturing, freight and duty structures, and inventory accounting
  • Embraces new tools and ways of working, including AI, to increase the speed and quality of analyses and workflows
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to do the work at any level, high curiosity, and comfortable in a lean environment where the scope grows with the business

Salary Range
$75,000$95,000 USD
