The Athletics are currently seeking a Part-time Bullpen Catcher at the Lew Wolff Training Complex in Mesa, Arizona. This position will be responsible for catching bullpens and supporting pitchers with rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the bullpen catcher for the complex, warming up pitchers during practices and bullpen sessions. 
  • Ensure a positive and professional approach when communicating with players, coaches, and other staff. 
  • Collaborate closely with coaching staff on daily activities, schedules, and reporting times. 
  • Follow all team guidelines, protocols, and rules set by the league. 

Requirements

  • Ability to bring a positive attitude to the ballpark each day, with a mindset committed to serving the needs of the team. 
  • High level baseball catching experience, ideally in college or professional baseball. 
  • Ability to catch multiple bullpens daily.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the minor league baseball schedule.
  • Must be local to the greater Mesa, AZ area (no housing or mileage reimbursements).
