Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and interactive dashboards aligned with business requirements.
→Maintain and optimize data analytics platforms to ensure consistently high query and model performance.
→Work with complex Power BI semantic models and large datasets, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and efficiency
→Connect to various data sources and transform data into actionable insights through Power Query.
→Conduct analysis with a strong focus on query optimization and data efficiency
→Evaluate, refactor, and enhance existing BI solutions to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
→Present information through high-performance reports and complex visualizations tailored to business needs
→Create technical documentation to support scalable Power BI solutions
→Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
→Train and support end-users on Power BI functionality, ensuring they can utilize the tools effectively.
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering

Requirements

English level – B2 or higher
4+ years of proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Engineer
Strong knowledge of SQL with ability to write optimized queries for complex datasets.

Proficiency with DAX, including performance optimization, context transition, advanced calculations, implementing Row-Level Security (RLS)
Proficiency in Power Query, including experience with complex transformations.

Proven ability to transform complex data into compelling visual reports and dashboards.
Proficient in data visualization best practices.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
Strong technical documentation skills

Experience with designing and implementing a data warehouse
Experience working in Agile environments like Scrum/Kanban
Experience integrating Power BI reports into websites (Power BI Embedded)
Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
Microsoft Business Intelligence and SQL certifications
Knowledge of CI/CD for Power BI (Deployment Pipelines or Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with Fabric Dataflows, Lakehouses, or Power BI Premium features.
