Tax Analyst

• →Prepare and file sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
• →Maintain and monitor a comprehensive tax compliance calendar, ensuring all filings are completed accurately and on time
• →Prepare and review monthly tax accruals and corresponding account reconciliations
• →Partner with external tax advisors to support federal and state income tax filings and quarterly provisions
• →Research and analyze tax implications related to business initiatives, including M&A activity, operational changes, and new business ventures
• →Review transactions for tax impact and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
• →Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Operations to improve tax processes and controls
• →Prepare and deliver data to property tax consultants and support annual property tax compliance efforts
• →Analyze tax notices and assist in drafting responses
• →Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–5 years of tax experience
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• MPA, MSA, or CPA
• Big 4 or regional public accounting experience
• Public company experience (Oil & Gas or Mining industry a plus)
• Experience with ERP systems and tax software such as Avalara
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or Alteryx is a plus
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
