The FBO Manager oversees the daily operation of ATP’s FBO, including aircraft fueling, line service, customer support, staff supervision, safety compliance, equipment readiness, and facility coordination. This role ensures FBO services are performed safely, efficiently, and professionally while maintaining a high level of service for customers, tenants and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily FBO operations to ensure safe, efficient, and professional aircraft fueling, line service, aircraft handling, detailing, hangar operations, and customer support.
  • Supervise FBO personnel, including assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring performance, coaching employees, and ensuring proper staffing coverage.
  • Ensure aircraft fueling, parking, towing, marshaling, detailing, and related line service activities are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with company policies, airport requirements, TSA security regulations, environmental requirements, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service by interacting with customers, resolving service issues, and promoting the use of ATP fuel, detailing, and FBO services.
  • Ensure FBO staff are properly trained and follow required procedures, manuals, safety practices, security requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Oversee completion of required records, reports, fuel logs, inspections, and internal correspondence related to FBO operations.
  • Monitor fuel inventory, equipment condition, supplies, vehicles, fuel systems, and the general readiness of FBO, ramp, and hangar areas.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repair, and upkeep of FBO equipment, vehicles, fuel systems, and related operational assets.
  • Monitor FBO revenue, expenses, fuel sales, service activity, and other operating results to support efficient and profitable operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service, increase fuel and detailing revenue, control costs, and support overall FBO performance.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with customers, airport personnel, vendors, contractors, and internal ATP departments. Respond to operational issues, customer concerns, safety events, equipment problems, or urgent FBO needs.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in aviation management, airport management, business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent FBO, airport operations, aviation line service, military aviation, or relevant management experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Prior experience in FBO operations, aviation line service, aircraft fueling, airport operations, or a related aviation environment required.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
