About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our physician office laboratory team. This role supports both waived and moderate complexity testing in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely results while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision
- →Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams
- →Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately
- →Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (chemistry, hematology, POC devices)
- →Perform and document quality control (QC) procedures
- →Enter and verify results in the EMR (Athena)
- →Review patient visit requirements in the EMR
- →Prepared for next-day patient visits by organizing required specimen collection tubes and visit materials
- →Assist with send-out testing and specialty kits
- →Maintain inventory and ensure proper supply levels
- →Follow all CLIA, OSHA, and safety guidelines
- →Demonstrates flexibility in supporting daily operational needs
