Accounts Payable Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for all inventory and non-inventory accounts payable functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

• Review, code, and enter non-inventory invoices into the accounting system
• 3-way match for P.O. invoices
• Route invoices for approval
• Assist with AP accrual
• Responsible for compliance to AtriCure quality system, SOX, and company policies
• Work with suppliers and shipping/receiving to resolve pricing/quantity issues and discrepancies
• Prepare weekly disbursement file, there after process all EFT, check and wire payments
• Monitor outstanding checks
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Setup vendors in bank for EFT or wire payments
• Compliance with all external audit partner requests

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required
• 3-5 years of experience required
• Data analysis experience
• Computer/data entry skills
• Good written/verbal communication skills
• Problem solving/trouble shooting experience
• Financial Analysis experience
• Payable/Receivable experience
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree in Business

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
• Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
