The Client Delivery Director is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of services and products to clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals and developing structured service products for our clients. This role leads the client delivery team, drives operational excellence, enhances the client experience, and ensures consistent, high-quality execution across all engagements.
Responsibilities

- Ensure client deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget expectations.
- Resolve delivery issues quickly and effectively, serving as a point of escalation.
- Management of the Client Onboarding Lead to ensure consistent execution and training of all new client engagements and team assignments
- Management of the Resource Manager to ensure accurate, consistent and appropriate staffing of all new and existing client teams
- Oversee a portfolio of client engagements to maintain hands-on understanding of accounting practices, team capacity, and end-to-end client delivery from both an internal and client-facing perspective.
- Develop strong, strategic relationships with key clients.
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Partner with the business development team to scope new work and ensure seamless transitions from sales to delivery.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term delivery strategy.
- Collaborate with People & Talent to build and scale a consistent, high-impact Learning & Development program that supports both technical excellence and soft-skill growth.
- Contribute to business planning, forecasting, and resourcing models.
- Identify emerging client needs and trends to inform service development.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on delivery metrics.
- Identify risks and proactively address them with mitigation strategies.
- Manage all general accounting functions which includes performing month-end close process, eliminations & consolidations, preparing and booking journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly consolidated client financials including fluctuation analysis and budget vs actual comparisons
- Direct activities related to efficient customer cash collection and vendor payments and overall cash management and cash forecasting
- Build financial models to help clients manage cash and make intelligent and proactive operational decisions
- Analyze company operations to identify operational and cost efficiencies and implement solutions
- Create and manage KPI Dashboards
- Manage general HR responsibilities, including payroll, processing employee onboarding & offboarding, and benefits management
- Oversee client tax-related matters to ensure timely compliance
- Lead annual financial audits, as required
- Manage and mentor accounting teams across all clients
Requirements

- Enthusiastic, personable, positive attitude, and high integrity
- Persistent and self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (MBA or similar preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or client delivery roles, with at least 5+ years in a leadership capacity
- 10+ years of senior level accounting and finance experience
Location:
- Remote – Silicon Valley & NYC region, preferred
- Ability to travel at least two times a year for All-Staff Retreats & Regional Meetups.
Reports To: COO
Salary Range: $185,000 to $210,000 based on experience
Target Annual Bonus: 15%
Position Status: Full-Time, Exempt
