Welcome to ATvantage Sports Medicine, where we believe in keeping healthcare providers engaged, empowered, and balanced. Our team is composed of multidisciplinary professionals, including Certified Athletic Trainers (ATs) and EMTs, who want to practice high-level care on their own terms.

Responsibilities

Provide autonomous sideline medical coverage for a variety of high school and college sporting events within the EMT scope of practice. Core responsibilities include:

  • Emergency Response: Lead immediate interventions for cardiac situations, heat-related illnesses, and acute trauma.
  • Concussion Management: Assess suspected concussions in accordance with state laws.
  • Orthopedic & Wound Care: Treat urgent soft tissue musculoskeletal injuries, skin abrasions, wounds, and other topical conditions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and secure patient care reports.
  • Experienced: MUST HAVE 3+ years of EMT experience, specifically in athletic, tournament, or event-based medical care.
  • Autonomous: You are completely comfortable acting as the primary medical authority on a sideline or at an event venue.
  • Patient-Centered: You have a passion for sports medicine and a deep commitment to providing high-quality, patient-first healthcare.
  • A Strong Communicator: You can seamlessly collaborate with athletes, families, coaches, and athletic training staff in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

  • Certifications: Current EMT Certification & State Licensure where applicable (Required).
  • Safety: First Aid/CPR/AED Certification for Healthcare Providers (Required).
  • Compliance: Mandated Reporter Training completed.
  • Logistics: Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and physical stamina to perform heavy lifting/assist with patient mobility.
