Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and solutions-oriented Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle while partnering with leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who can balance day-to-day HR operations with long-term organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR focal point for our employees.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and policy interpretation.
- Administer employee benefits, leave of absence programs, and other related employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with payroll to ensure personnel actions and data are accurately processed.
- Support compensation administration, job descriptions, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Lead employee engagement, recognition, retention, wellness, and development initiatives.
- Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, employee handbook content, and HR documentation.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, prepare HR metrics and reporting (turnover, retention, recruiting, benefits utilization, absenteeism) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Coordinate performance management, succession planning, talent development, and change management initiatives.
- Participate in internal audits, compliance reporting, and continuous process improvement.
- Monitor employment law changes and recommend policy updates.
- Additional HR related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Strong working knowledge of EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, & ERISA
- Experience administering benefits and leaves of absence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Experience with BambooHR.
