Organizational Development Coordinator
Quick Summary
The Organizational Development Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and continuous improvement of Austin Powder's talent and performance systems - enterprise Learning Management System (LMS), HRIS Performance tools and resources (Goal Planning, Performance Check-Ins, Performance Reviews), Professional Development Library, – deployed through multiple platforms. This role collaborates with enterprise HR Team Members and functional Business Partners to ensure alignment and adoption of these systems, for the purpose of fostering and advancing the Performance Management and People Development culture at Austin Powder. The Organizational Development Coordinator will report to the Director of Organizational Development.
Responsibilities
~2 min readLearning Management System (LMS) –
- →Drives compliance with enterprise LMS governance standards across all functional user groups and administrators; ensures alignment of HRIS employee data through partnership with HR and IT Team resources.
Professional Development Content Curation -
- →Acts as lead content curator for enterprise LMS Professional Development Library which addresses soft skill topic areas and which supports online learning for other key Talent and Learning & Development focus areas, including: Leadership Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Wellness, etc.
Talent and Performance Tools –
- →Partners with the HRIS Team and enterprise HR Business Partners to develop, deploy and continuously improve all talent and performance tools delivered via the Austin Powder HRIS and ensures organizational adoption and maximization.
Talent KPIs and Metrics –
- →Curates and distributes reporting and metrics derived from the HRIS and other talent systems and processes.
Learning Enablement, Communication and Support Resources –
- →Fosters engagement and awareness of learning and development resources via key communication media, including: Organizational Development shared email account, Powder Keg intranet, Teams communications, etc.
- →Maintains strong partnerships with Organizational Development Team Members, global Human Resources Team and Business Partners to ensure collaboration, information sharing and optimal program and project outcomes.
Training Event Coordination –
- →Manages the logistical planning and execution of key training-related events delivered via multiple modalities, including Instructor-Led classroom training and online learning.
Other –
- →Completes all other projects assigned by the Director, Organizational Development.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Psychology, General Business, Information Technology or related field
- A minimum of two years of full-cycle Human Resources experience
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Work experience in planning and deploying corporate learning events, virtual and in-person
- Demonstrated ability to work with Employees and Leadership at all organizational levels
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated creative thinking and decision-making skills
- Detail orientation, with excellent follow-up practices and customer service mindset
- Capability to multi-task, highly-organized and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions
- Strict adherence to confidentiality and high ethical standards
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Copilot, Outlook) proficiency
- Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions in HR process improvement, preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others and work under minimal supervision
- Travel will be <5%
- Physical demands include sitting for extended periods of time while frequently typing, viewing computer screens and use of mouse/keyboard
- Operation of office equipment to include but not limited to telephones, printers, copiers, and scanners
- Repetitive motion of data entry, hand, finger wrist motion and dexterity
- May include filing and handling paperwork may involve repetitive reaching, grasping, or bending
- Light lifting and carrying of office supplies, files, or boxes (generally under 25 lbs.)
- May need to set up for meetings (moving chairs, refreshments, etc.)
- Will require walking and standing during the office hours, during events, meeting setup etc.
- Clear verbal communication and active listening, often over the phone or video calls
