Workday Finance Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Workday Finance Specialist, you will support our Workday Financials platform and help standardise finance processes across Europe and Canada. Working closely with Finance and Technology teams, you will drive system improvements and enable efficient accounting operations and period-end processes.

• Support and optimise Workday Financials across multiple countries.
• Drive finance process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and external partners on international projects.

• →Support Workday Financials as the central ERP system across multiple companies and geographies.
• →Configure financial dimensions, posting rules and business logic.
• →Provide first-level system support for accounting operations and period-end activities.
• →Drive system and process improvements, including automation initiatives.
• →Coordinate global feature rollouts and finance projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• →Train finance teams and maintain clear process documentation.
• →Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience with cloud-based ERP systems, ideally Workday Financials.
• Good understanding of IFRS or German GAAP and end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C).
• Experience with automation tools such as Make.com or UiPath is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German and English.
