POSITION OVERVIEW
The Auto Insurance Advisor is responsible for servicing clients in a courteous and professional manner. They maintain extensive knowledge of various insurance products and collaborates with team members to ensure a superior customer service experience. Our goal as a team is to provide clients with expert advice and out of the box problem solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering exceptional additional services to clients that exceed standard transactional offerings for personal lines customers.
- Engaging in growth initiatives on behalf of the Personal Insurance department.
- Managing Autopac transactions for walk-in, phone and email requests.
- Fostering strong, long-term customer relationships by providing value-added services.
- Overseeing account documentation, which encompasses routine inquiries, quotes, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, and additional tasks for Auto.
- Deliver prompt and precise responses to inquiries, addressing issues and providing solutions to fulfill client requirements.
- Assist with initial Personal Lines claims reporting and file documentation within EPIC.
- Demonstrate ownership, urgency and adherence to timelines in all client engagements.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of insurance products with Manitoba Public Insurance.
- Partnering with Personal Insurance team members to deliver an outstanding customer service experience.
- Deliver prompt and precise responses to inquiries, addressing issues and providing solutions to fulfill client requirements.
- Ensuring adherence to MPI & EPIC workflows.
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level One or Auto Only Manitoba Insurance license is required.
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required.
- Familiarity with a Broker Management System, particularly Epic, is preferred.
- Candidates should possess strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage competing demands effectively.
- SRE and Commercial Vehicle knowledge is an asset.
- The individual must be a self-starter, goal-oriented, and a quick learner.
- A strong customer focus and proficient problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Bilingual proficiency in oral and written communication is an asset, with English as a requirement.
