About Avasant’s Financial Analysis & Benchmarking Practice:

Avasant’s Financial Analysis & benchmarking practice provides data-based market insights to technology buyers and providers as they navigate the rapidly changing digital landscape. We develop detailed benchmarking reports, customized per our client’s requirements, that provides them detailed assessment their commercials and KPIs based on comparison with best-in-class / industry peers.

We help resolve business problems through data-driven consulting where we help clients assess their IT spending and staffing and get Price and Operational Benchmarks of their Service contracts (ITO, BPO), Enterprise Cloud Agreements and Software/platform license contracts.
Avasant’s benchmarking services help companies optimize software spend for enterprise applications, strategic business applications, and commercial off the shelf (COTS) solutions.

In addition to client projects, the practice owns a market-leading benchmarking platform: AvaMark, that has paid subscribers. Benchmarking team supports AvaMark platform through end-to-end product management and data enrichment activities.

Role Overview:

This client-facing role includes elements of consulting, data analysis, product management and project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Work with Avasant clients to:
- Define requirements for ADM (Application Development and Maintenance) benchmarks based on Client’s business requirement.
- Guide the client teams throughout data collection process.
- If required, select relevant metrics for assessing client’s environment.
- Perform analysis of data on cost and operations.

Assess the client’s current business operations, and provide benchmarking analysis based on pricing, automation tools, and staffing.
Develop solution models in ADM space based on different client environment
Work closely with other Avasant teams (including development teams to jointly develop offerings that help our clients benchmark their ADM environment.
Mentor a team of analysts supporting client projects and data management.
Exceptional project management while leading a lean and diversified team. Contribution to the overall strategic direction of the research practice
Engage with senior leadership teams and CXOs of Client organizations seeking sourcing and benchmarking expertise for IT contracts
Engage with industry ecosystem comprising of technology and platform firms, research consumers and others directly.

Qualifications:

9-14 years of experience in pre-sales and solutioning for application services, including application operations, Agile delivery, and modernization initiatives. Must possess hands-on solutioning experience in Application Development and Maintenance (ADM).
Should have good understanding of automation solutions, staffing estimation, commercial models and transformation roadmaps
Experience with global clients / contracts
Knowledge and experience in conducting due diligence, portfolio assessment, solution workshops, bid defence presentations is preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal (English)
Strong sense of ownership and adherence to quality and timelines
Exceptional quantitative and data interpretation skills
