We are growing and have an immediate need for an experienced Warehouse staff member. Since 1953, our team has worked with clients across North America to collaboratively solve basic to complex merchandising and display issues. Wood, metal, and plastic for retail, grocery, pharmacy, kiosks, and beyond. From consultation, to manufacturing, to installation, AWP will make the most ambitious display ideas a reality.



This is a union position and the successful candidate will become a member of United Steelworkers Local 2009.


Position Summary:

This is a full-time, unionized position at our facility in Surrey, BC.

Reporting to the Shipping and Warehouse Manager, the Warehouseman II is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  The role is responsible for order picking, packaging, material handling, and supporting production operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.



Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Pick, organize and package items from inventory for customer order shipments as directed by Warehouseman I
  • Material handing product and raw materials to and from work centers as directed by Management
  • Production Worker I duties as assigned and required
  • Certified Forklift Operator
  • Maintain company's quality and productivity standards
  • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (23kg) as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or material handling operations
  • Valid forklift certification required
  • Valid sit-down counterbalance forklift ticket required
  • Valid stand-up reach truck ticket required
  • Experience using RF scanners required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work rotating shifts if necessary.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
