This is a hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, supporting a key business control and trade services function. The role offers exposure to enterprise banking systems, Agile delivery practices, and end-to-end QA ownership across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Provide full lifecycle QA support for technology solutions tied to trade finance operations and business control processes.
• Review business requirements, functional documentation, and project materials to identify testing scope, risks, gaps, and clarification needs.
• Develop test plans, test scenarios, manual test cases, entry/exit criteria, and test summary reports as needed.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple systems and workflows.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and evidence using approved QA and project tools.
• Prepare, validate, and manage test data needed for assigned scenarios and business workflows.
• Log clear defects, support triage discussions, retest fixes, and track issues through closure.
• Partner with business users, developers, business analysts, and project managers during stand-ups, defect calls, retrospectives, and UAT support.

• 3+ years of QA/testing experience in a large-scale software development or enterprise technology environment.
• Strong manual testing experience across functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Proven experience working in Agile Scrum teams with a solid understanding of SDLC and iterative delivery practices.
• Experience designing test cases from functional and non-functional requirements.
• Strong defect documentation, defect tracking, retesting, and requirements traceability skills.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA; experience linking requirements, test cases, and defects is required.
• Familiarity with X-Ray is beneficial.
• Experience using shared documentation and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
• Ability to create or support SQL queries, test data setup, and transformation logic validation when needed.
• Understanding of Trade Finance products and processes, including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Collections.
• Experience with banking or financial services systems and workflows is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Eximbills Enterprise is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, communication skills, and comfort working with teams across countries and time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
