✓Work with internal stakeholders across research laboratories; determine needs and provide IT support for computerized systems supporting laboratory activities.

✓Install and configure scientific enterprise-level applications on end-user machines.

✓Work to provide continual operability of chemistry related software applications performing daily troubleshooting and maintenance.

✓Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting and assistance.

✓Act as primary contact with software vendors to verify all licenses, upgrades, and patches are up to date and confirm compatibility with other software packages.

✓Involvement with ASPIRE program regarding the extraction, curation, and management of electronic notebook data.

✓System administrator for PerkinElmer Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), ChemBioOffice Enterprise

✓(CBOE), CambridgeSoft ChemDraw, Mestrelab Mnova Suite.

✓Work with subject matter experts on the selection, implementation and support of software systems used by researchers.

✓Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to improve laboratory operations and instrument data analysis.

✓Coordinate with IT support team, Informatics, and software vendors to ensure proper maintenance of applications and database servers, including patch installation, database migration, and system upgrades.

✓Coordinate with IT support to resolve hardware and software issues pertaining to the functions of scientific applications.

✓Coordinate and provide support and maintenance for front-end and back-end servers.

✓Deploy security measures to maintain integrity of systems and data.

✓Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline

✓Minimum ten (10) years of specialized experience

✓Work products and documents related to the needs of internal stakeholders across research laboratories and providing IT support for computerized systems supporting laboratory activities; collaborations with internal stakeholders and external vendors to improve laboratory operations and instrument data analysis.

✓Work products and documents related to selection, implementation and support of software systems used by researchers; verification of all licenses, upgrades, and patches are up to date and confirm compatibility with other software packages; coordination with IT support team, Informatics, and software vendors to ensure proper maintenance of applications and database servers, including patch installation, database migration, and system upgrades.

✓Work products and documents related to resolving hardware and software issues pertaining to the function of the scientific applications; providing support for front-end and back-end servers; deployment of security patches.
