About the Role
This is an entry-level position within our Decision Intelligence (DI) team, based out of our Thousand Oaks office. As a Decision Intelligence Associate, you’ll receive hands-on mentorship from senior team members while building analytics and AI skills, supporting client deliverables, and learning how our Life Science Industry clients turn data into decisions. Prior professional experience is helpful but not required; we are looking for individuals with strong analytical foundations, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning. Must be available to work on-site 4 days a week.

About the Role

Potential Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
- Support data analyses using SQL and Python — Databricks exposure is a plus — to help clients improve patient health outcomes
- Assist in building and testing AI/ML, GenAI, and emerging Agentic AI solutions under the guidance of senior team members, including exposure to LLM-based tools and workflows.
- Help develop and validate statistical models using foundational techniques such as regression and clustering
- Help build Tableau/Power BI dashboards to communicate insights to client stakeholders
- Collaborate with offshore teams in India on light coordination tasks (tracking, scheduling) with senior guidance
- Stay current on emerging trends in AI and data science, and identify opportunities to apply them in client work.
- Education: A Bachelors (Masters are desirable) in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Math, Statistics, or Engineering
- Technical Skills: Foundational SQL and Python usage; exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, R, or Excel is a plus
- AI Fluency: Experience using GenAI and AI-powered tools to support analytics, problem solving, and decision-making. Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and emerging Agentic AI concepts is a plus.
- Industry Interest: Interest in the Life Sciences industry and how data, analytics, and AI enable commercial decision-making; prior exposure is a plus, not required.
- Communication: Good verbal/written communication skills and openness to building client-facing presence
- Collaboration: Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Mindset: Curious, coachable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Eligibility: Must have US work authorization without need of visa sponsorship now or in the future
