Senior Software - Go, JavaScript

We are representing an established platform that is currently simplifying e-commerce and logistics across South Africa. They operate with zero corporate red tape, move quickly, and give their tech team genuine autonomy over their builds.

• Compensation: R70,000 to R100,000 per month, completely dependent on your actual experience.

Reporting directly to the Chief of Product, this is a senior position designed for an engineer who wants to build and optimise, not just maintain patch code.

• You will design, develop, and optimise scalable software solutions that directly impact everyday consumers and courier partners.
• You will lead by example, writing clean code and mentoring fellow engineers through collaborative code reviews.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to solve complex, real-world problems.
• You will take complete end-to-end ownership of your work, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

The team is flexible on the exact years of experience, provided you have a minimum of 4 years of solid software development under your belt along with a relevant qualification (Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science or IT).

Your technical toolkit should feature:

• Frontend: Strong experience with React, Vue, or Angular.

• Backend: Solid proficiency in Go, C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.

• Bonus Points: Practical experience within fintech, logistics, or e-commerce platforms is a massive advantage. Real-world exposure to React Native or similar mobile frameworks is also a plus.
