The Role
The Director of Hospitality & Agritourism is responsible for leading and elevating the overall guest experience across Ballerina Farm's customer-facing operations, including Retail, Agritourism, Events, Food & Beverage, and Guest Facilities.
This leader will serve as a member of the senior leadership team and provide strategic oversight across these functions, developing scalable systems, building high-performing teams, and creating exceptional guest experiences that reflect the Ballerina Farm brand and values.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building teams and processes, and has a passion for creating meaningful experiences rooted in authenticity, quality, and service.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a hospitality strategy that creates exceptional and consistent guest experiences across all customer touchpoints.
- Foster a culture of warmth, ownership, accountability, and teamwork.
- Partner with functional leaders to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and service standards across all hospitality functions.
- Analyze guest feedback, operational metrics, and financial performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the guest experience.
- Lead the planning and execution of events, tours, seasonal programming, and destination experiences that strengthen the Ballerina Farm brand.
- Establish scalable systems, SOPs, and performance metrics to support continued growth.
- Develop, coach, and mentor leaders and teams across hospitality functions.
- Foster collaboration across Retail, Culinary, Marketing, Operations, Facilities, and other business units to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Ensure all guest-facing environments maintain exceptional standards for hospitality, cleanliness, presentation, safety, and service.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to travel between Company locations as needed.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require.
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality, retail, restaurants, food service, events, tourism, guest experience, or multi-site operations.
- Experience leading managers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong operational, financial, and business management skills.
- Experience in food service, restaurant, or guest-facing culinary operations.
- Experience building scalable systems, processes, and service standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in agritourism, destination hospitality, experiential tourism, ranches, farms, resorts, outdoor recreation, or similar guest-focused environments.
- Experience managing multiple locations or business units.
- Experience in luxury hospitality or premium customer experience environments.
- Experience overseeing public events and seasonal programming.
About the Opportunity
- This is a full-time, exempt position
- This position requires work to be performed on-site in Kamas and/or Midway, Utah.
