Responsibilities

→Assist Coaches and Coordinators developing player development plans.
→Assist Coaches and Coordinators in day-to-day training of healthy pitchers.
→Assist Coaches in execution of throwing rehabilitation programs.
→Collaborate with the Pitching Leadership group to design and execute individualized player plans.
→Utilize organizational coaching tools and analytical tools to help inform decision making.
→Assist Pitching Coordinator group with Special Projects depending on the candidate’s unique skill set.
→Roving responsibilities are variable in the season and off-season camps.
→Off-season responsibilities will include on-site development camps and remote training.
→Will work primarily out of the Ed Smith Complex in Sarasota FL during the season with roving responsibilities to the DR Complex and Full Season Affiliates.
→Spring Training will be based out of Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota FL.

Requirements

Exceptional organization and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Appreciation/Experience using data and information from technologies such as Trackman, Rapsodo, and Edgertronic Cameras.
Appreciation/Experience for functional movement and biomechanical development.
Intrinsically motivated, reliable, growth mindset.

Former Collegiate or Professional playing experience.
Experience as a Pitching Coach.
Full time relocation to Sarasota FL desired, not required.
