We are seeking a relationship-driven Business Banker (Commercial Lender) to develop and manage commercial banking relationships by delivering tailored credit, deposit, and cash management solutions. This role focuses on business development, portfolio growth, client retention, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop new commercial banking relationships with businesses, non-profits, and community organizations.
- →Manage and grow an existing portfolio by deepening client relationships and identifying additional opportunities.
- →Structure and recommend commercial lending solutions that align with client needs and bank risk standards.
- →Analyze financial statements, business performance, and industry trends to assess creditworthiness.
- →Maintain strong knowledge of commercial loans, treasury management, deposit products, and related business banking services.
- →Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience and effective loan process.
- →Represent the bank in the community through networking, business development, and involvement in local organizations.
- →Ensure all lending and relationship activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 10 years of commercial lending and relationship management experience.
- Proven ability to develop new business and build strong community relationships.
- Strong credit analysis, financial acumen, and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trust.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and client focus.
