As a Commercial Loan Specialist, you will provide support to commercial lending staff in commercial branches or banking centers. Process loan closings, attain loan perfection, and service loan customers.

Prepare commercial loan request documents and gather customer income and net worth information.

Respond to customer questions with professionalism and care.

Order and track third-party reports such as title, insurance, and other required documentation

Prepare commitment letters and coordinate the payoff of property liens.

Coordinate loan closings and prepare disbursement checks.

Verify loan system accuracy for newly boarded loans.

Ensure loan files meet internal policy standards and regulatory requirements.

Process advances and payments on commercial lines of credit.

Balance commercial loan suspense accounts on a monthly basis.

Follow all bank policies, security protocols, and applicable government regulations.

You have a high school diploma or G.E.D. (Required).

You bring two or more years of commercial loan support experience (Required).

An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.

You’re comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment while producing accurate, detailed work.

You have strong analytical skills and enjoy identifying errors, resolving variances, and improving processes.

You deliver responsive, professional customer service and communicate clearly with internal and external partners.

You have a working knowledge of accounting principles and commercial loan documentation.

You’re proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and commercial loan systems.

You understand state and regulatory requirements related to commercial lending.

Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $ 27.00- $32.00
