We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our growing global finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine accounting, financial analysis, process improvement, and M&A integration support within a dynamic, acquisition-driven organization.

As a Financial Analyst, you will take ownership of accounting and financial operations across assigned operating companies, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and partnering with stakeholders to drive informed business decisions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to finance transformation initiatives through automation and AI-driven solutions while gaining exposure to acquisition integrations and global finance operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
  • Review and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across assigned entities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit processes.
  • Monitor cash flow and support forecasting activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc financial analyses for business stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements through automation and technology solutions.
  • Support the adoption of AI-driven tools for reporting and financial analysis.
  • Partner with operating company leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
  • Support integration of newly acquired businesses, including financial reporting and process transitions.
  • Assist with acquisition accounting and related finance integration activities.
  • Develop and enhance finance policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing month-end close processes.
  • Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is an asset).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience supporting multiple business entities or operating companies is preferred.
  • Exposure to acquisition integration, automation initiatives, or finance transformation projects is considered an asset.
