→Lead the preparation and review of the Company’s quarterly and annual external reporting package, which includes ensuring financial statements, footnotes and MD&A required for debt compliance are complete, accurate and in compliance with U.S. GAAP
→Serve as subject matter expert on complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters, including but not limited to revenue recognition, business combinations, goodwill and intangible assets, leases, debt transactions, derivatives and hedging and pension & post-retirement plans
→Research, analyze and document technical accounting conclusions
→Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and related disclosure requirements
→Provide accounting guidance for acquisitions, divestitures, financings, contracts, other non-routine transactions
→Lead initiatives to improve the efficiency, accuracy and scalability of reporting and technical accounting
→Present technical accounting matters, reporting updates, and key judgments to senior leadership and external auditors
→Act as primary liaison with external auditors on reporting, technical accounting, and disclosure matters
→Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely resolution of reporting and accounting issues
→Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, external auditors, and senior leadership

Established project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal skills
Experience with consolidation and reporting systems (Oracle and Workiva are preferred)
Experience preparing or reviewing external filing documents
Experience leading the research and documentation of complex technical accounting matters or other non-routine transactions
Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, external auditors, legal and cross-functional business partners
Ability for travel to support business initiatives as needed

BS degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation/Advanced Degree is preferred
10+ years of US GAAP accounting experience, including experience with a public accounting firm or public company industry experience; additional experience in manufacturing environments is preferred
