Responsibilities

Develop, create & update sheet metal forming / stamping processes and work instructions in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Design stamping tools, die-sets, tooling, fixtures and gauges for the respective fabrication processes.
- →
Develop manufacturing process like Broaching, Orbital riveting and shot peening for the manufacturing of actuating products.
- →
Develop special processes such as Heat Treatment, Brazing, EDM, Shotpeening and Welding etc.
- →
Create technical costing for NPI and existing work
- →
Conduct pre-production pilot run and training for associates.
- →
Provide technical support to Production to achieve technical and quality requirements.
- →
Liaise with Singapore OEM on product requirements, process qualifications and technology development.

Support continuous improvement projects

Support Request for Quote (RFQ) proposal development and process

Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skill.

Multi-task other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Requirements

At least 3 years’ experience in precision engineering/aerospace component manufacturing or mass manufacturing. Competent with CAD software; Siemens NX Unigraphics preferred.

Experience with CNC machining and programming using CAD/CAM.

Machining (Milling / Turning) knowledge including understanding of manufacturing technology.

Good knowledge of tool and fixture design.

Proficient at reading, analyzing, and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards.

Good understanding of special processes such as Heat Treatment, Brazing, EDM, Shotpeening and Welding etc.

Good project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good team player and able to work with people from various functions.
