Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trades, technical, and professional positions.
  • Lead high volume recruiting efforts for specialized machinist positions including CNC machinists, setup technicians, programmers, toolmakers, and other precision manufacturing roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and job requirements.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, trade schools, employee referrals, networking, and community partnerships.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate onsite interviews, and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain and track candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard to fill manufacturing and machining positions.
  • Coordinate recruiting events, job fairs, and outreach initiatives targeting skilled manufacturing talent.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and promote the SPECTRIX employer brand.
  • Collaborate with HR and operations teams to support onboarding and hiring compliance activities.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics including time to fill, candidate flow, and hiring effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on labor market trends and competitive hiring practices within manufacturing and machining industries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades environments.
  • Experience recruiting high-volume and hard to fill machinist or technical manufacturing positions strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, manufacturing terminology, and skilled trades recruiting strategies is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or similar tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
