• Manage all aspects of inventory and inventory movement.
• Oversee and review various material and inventory transactions, cycle counts, and receiving function to complete purchase order function into ERP.
• Daily management of all inventory transactions, material stores and OV shipping and receiving.
• Provide oversight for proper handling and storage of materials.
• Assure production requirements are met by OV’s in accordance with the Master Production Schedule.
• Work directly with the Strategic Materials Lead and Production team to organize and track all consumable tools including grinding wheels, electrodes, cutters, drills, etc.
• Responsible for ensuring all material storage areas are maintained.
• Maintain cycle count program with ABC stratification, review and resolve adjustments (with approvals) and report accuracy.
• Serve as lead for annual stores and WIP Physical Inventory counts.
• Collaborate with Planners to plan and issue material for production machining, raw material, and semi-finished components.
• Collaborate with Raw Material Buyers/Planners/Engineers and Quality team to manage and maintain RTV material.
• Understand and monitor ERP (Syteline) messages for release dates, due dates and promise dates for materials and purchase parts.
• Assist in purchasing Materials, Purchased Parts, OV Processes and Outside Services to meet production and delivery requirements.
• Support all Financial and Quality audits as required.
• Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
• Lead the operations of Shipping, Receiving and Stockroom for both OEM and MRO businesses.
• Responsible for training employees and daily superintendents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience in an aerospace production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task.
• Ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions based on data and instruction.
• Ability to interpret travelers and work instructions.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required as well as working knowledge of ERP system.
• Candidate must be able to work well in both a team environment and across various departmental functions within the company.
• Ability to effectively operate lift truck or hand truck to move, convey or hoist materials, or product.
