Corporate Paralegal

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain and manage corporate records and document databases, including governance documents, transactional materials, legal discovery, and other items as needed.
- →Support corporate governance activities, including compiling information for disclosure to the board, contributing to the preparation of resolutions, and entity filings.
- →Assist with due diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including organizing and reviewing documents.
- →Coordinate and produce documentation for legal discovery requests and audits.
- →Draft, review, and organize legal documents and correspondence as needed.
- →Conduct legal and regulatory research and assist in developing recommendations for legal projects.
- →Assist in all follow through for corporate compliance requirements.
- →Investigate claims and gather relevant information and supporting documentation.
- →Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel to support legal initiatives.
- →Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
Requirements
~1 min read- Paralegal certification or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm (corporate practice preferred).
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and legal documentation processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
