Service Writer

• →Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service and repair needs.
• →Prepare, process, and maintain accurate repair orders, including labor, parts, warranty information, and customer concerns.
• →Communicate repair status, timelines, and recommendations to customers throughout the service process.
• →Verify warranty coverage and service contract eligibility.
• →Recommend and explain additional maintenance or repair services as needed.
• →Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate documentation of repairs and service recommendations.
• →Work closely with the Parts Department to source and procure needed parts.
• →Partner with administrative staff to ensure accurate invoicing and customer billing.
• →Support efforts to improve supplier relationships and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• →Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• →Deliver a high level of customer service while fostering strong customer relationships.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1+ year of Service Writer, Service Advisor, or related customer service experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand repair recommendations.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Fit for Duty assessment.

• Experience in construction, heavy equipment, transportation, fleet, or industrial service environments.
• Familiarity with repair order systems, parts sourcing, and shop operations.
• Proven ability to identify service opportunities and support customer satisfaction.
• Experience working with technicians, parts departments, and customers in a fast-paced service environment.

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
